3–12 (best with 4–6)
Standard 52-card deck
A scrap of paper each to record lives (usually 4 per player)
A small fee to enter. All entry fees form the pot that everyone is playing for.
Build the strongest 3-card hand, aiming for 31 points in one suit.
Aces = 11 points
Face cards (K, Q, J) = 10 points each
Number cards = pip value (2–10)
Score is based on the highest total of one suit in your hand.
Triple (three of a kind) = 30.5 points (beats any non-31 suited hand).
Boom Hands (Ace, 10 and any face card of the same suit).
Boom hands can be played immediately and everyone instantly loses a life.
Each player is dealt 3 cards.
Remaining deck is placed in the center, with the top card face-up beside it (discard pile).
On your turn you may either:
Draw the top card from the stock (face-down) or discard pile (face-up).
Discard one card face-up to end your turn.
Knocking
Instead of drawing, you may “knock” to signal the last round.
All other players get one more turn.
Afterward, everyone reveals hands and scores.
Scoring the Round
Lowest score loses a life.
That player takes their piece of paper and folds the corner down.
Once they have 4 folds they are eliminated.
Players keep playing until all but one are out of chips/lives.
Last player standing wins.
You cannot knock on the first round of play.
