Examples of Misdeals
Exposed card(s) during the initial deal (one may be replaced; multiple exposures = misdeal).
Wrong number of cards to a player (too many or too few, and it can’t be corrected smoothly).
Cards dealt out of order (skipping a seat, double-dealing, or dealing to an empty seat).
Boxed card (face-up card appears in the deck during the deal).
Incorrect burn/board deal (burn forgotten or flop/turn/river exposed too early).
